After two years of absence from the Roman scene, The Irrepressibles return to the Piper Club in Rome to present the new live album “Nude”, says one of the band’s most creative and talented of the British scene.
Released in Italy on February 5, Nude is a work that shows a new direction of the band, but that certainly does not disappoint the fans who follow them from a long time. An album where the dark electronic joins a highly original and creative orchestration that the “mancuniani” define as “the rich complexity of life.”
A raw and intense work, inspired by the elements, focused on the passage of time and memory, Nude is expansive and atmospheric, with powerful melodies and arrangements who play with the iconography of the European Union, as well as with the American one.
With influences ranging from Phil Spector sound, to the masters of Doo-wop The Flamingos, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Neil Young, Japanese Electronics and Abba, the concert Nude marks another chapter in the history in permanent evolution of The Irrepressibles, which saw the band split between careful studio work and live spectacular and engaging.

Dopo due anni d’assenza dalla scena romana, The Irrepressibles tornano al Piper Club di Roma per presentare live il nuovo album “Nude”, conferma di una delle band più creative e talentuose della scena inglese.
In uscita in Italia il 5 febbraio Nude è un lavoro che mostra una nuova direzione della band, ma che certamente non delude i fan che li seguono da tempo. Un album dove la dark elettronica si unisce ad una orchestrazione altamente creativa e originale che gli stessi mancuniani definiscono come essere “la ricca complessità della vita”.
Un lavoro crudo e intenso, ispirato dagli elementi, focalizzato sul trascorrere del tempo e sulla memoria, Nude è espansivo e d’atmosfera, con potenti melodie e arrangiamenti che giocano sia con l’iconografia europea, sia con quella americana.
Con influenze sonore che spaziano da Phil Spector, ai maestri del Doo-wop The Flamingos, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Neil Young, Elettronica Giapponese e Abba, il concerto di Nude segna un altro capitolo distinto nella storia perennemente in evoluzione dei The Irrepressibles, che ha visto la band dividersi tra attenti lavori in studio e live scenografici e coinvolgenti.

Ad aprire il concerto, uno dei loro più grandi fan, Marco Guazzone (e Stag), il 24enne cantautore romano rivelatosi con il brano “Guasto” a Sanremo 2012, e che proprio al Piper Club, sempre con gli STAG, ha presentato “L’Atlante dei Pensieri”.
