Friday 8th – Saturday, June 9, 2012 – “Meet In Town” invades the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome.
“Let’s Stay Together” is the title of this third edition. A phrase that contains the strongest sense of quality and characteristic of MIT.
Even richer of the past years, this event offers a line up packed with big international guests, new and special projects, innovative in stark reality during emergence, between trials, theater, video art and audiovisive installations. It is a way of living and enjoying the shows and concerts, the specific character of the festival. An approach that comes from the “reinterpretation” of the spaces of Auditorium, the temporary rewrite of the functional and emotional plant of the complex, which feeds a powerful sense of freedom and sharing. MIT takes place in fact in all areas of the Parco Della Musica: the cavea and the outdoors this year even more central than the previous – the rooms, the foyer, the exhibition areas.

“Let’s Stay Together” è il titolo di questa terza edizione. Una frase che racchiude il senso della qualità più forte e caratteristica di MIT.
Un evento ancora più ricco degli anni passati, con una line up fitta di grandi ospiti internazionali, progetti inediti e speciali, realtà innovative in forte fase di emersione, tra sperimentazioni, teatro, video-arte e istallazioni audiovisive.È infatti il modo di vivere e fruire gli spettacoli e i concerti il carattere specifico del festival. Un approccio che nasce dalla “rivisitazione” degli spazi di Auditorium, quella temporanea riscrittura della pianta funzionale ed emotiva del complesso, che alimenta un forte senso di libertà e condivisione. MIT si svolge infatti in tutti gli ambienti del Parco della Musica: la Cavea e gli spazi all’aperto quest’anno ancora più centrali rispetto ai precedenti – le sale, i foyer, gli ambienti espositivi….
