From 18 to September 20, 2012 at 21:00 T.A.T. – Talents at Theatre opens the 2012-2013 season of the Teatro Olimpico.
“We bet on today’s skills and creativity of the artistic directors of tomorrow, to build the future of live performance.” This led to the design TAT – Talents at Theatre, which closes its first edition with 76 well shows offered by young people under 35 years, surpassing all expectations and gave a loud signal on the vitality of the field of live performance.

The desire to tell the story of those who must feel like a foreigner in the house, the place where he lives, works, falls in love and grow their own children. To tell it there is a need for a universally understood language: music, dance. Rootless is the path of a hypothetical traveler, who is black from Italy to Africa in search of middle ground.

The fairy tale story becomes old and current addresses themes of abandonment, hunger, the possibility of redemption through the pooling of resources and suffering. The show draws an effective physical and emotional environment that accompanies two important topics: the renunciation of family and consumer society that devours us.

Dal 18 al 20 Settembre 2012 alle ore 21:00 T.A.T. – Talenti a Teatro apre la stagione 2012-2013 del Teatro Olimpico.
“Scommettiamo oggi sulle capacità e la creatività dei direttori artistici di domani, per costruire il futuro dello spettacolo dal vivo.” È nato così il progetto TAT – Talenti a Teatro, che chiude la sua prima edizione con ben 76 spettacoli proposti da giovani con meno di 35 anni, superando ogni aspettativa e lanciando un forte segnale sulla vivacità del settore dello spettacolo dal vivo.
La Commissione Mista ha deciso di selezionare ben tre spettacoli con un ex equo. Ciascun progetto avrà quindi diritto ad esibirsi sul palcoscenico del Teatro Olimpico per una serata e ciascuna compagnia avrà diritto all’incasso relativo alla propria giornata di rappresentazione. Coesione ed integrazione sociale, innovazione e sperimentazione artistica, attenzione e valorizzazione di tematiche proprie delle giovani generazioni sono gli argomenti che caratterizzano le opere selezionate.

La volontà di raccontare la storia di chi deve sentirsi straniero in casa, nel luogo dove vive, lavora, si innamora e cresce i propri figli. Per raccontarla c’é la necessità di un linguaggio universalmente compreso: la musica, la danza. Senza Radici è il percorso di un ipotetico viandante, che dall’Italia all’Africa nera va alla ricerca della terra di mezzo.

L’incontro di due giovani talenti provenienti da due diversi ambiti artistici, danza e musica. La sperimentazione li porta ad impegnarsi nella realizzazione di un progetto artistico, interdisciplinare e dal respiro internazionale. Il loro intento è quello di catturare il pubblico con l’energia del concerto live e l’emozione empatica del linguaggio corporeo e musicale.

La fiaba antica diventa narrazione attuale mentre affronta i temi dell’abbandono, della fame, della possibilità del riscatto attraverso la messa in comune di affetti e risorse. Lo spettacolo disegna con efficacia l’ambiente fisico e sentimentale che accompagna due temi di grande attualità: la rinuncia alla famiglia e la società consumistica che ci divora.
