The seventh edition of the Rome Film Festival will take place from the 9th to the 17th of November 2012 at the Auditorium Parco della Musica.
Renzo Piano’s complex will once again be the beating heart of the Festival, the place for all the screenings and the red carpet: the 1,300 square meters of the avenue leading to the Cavea will be transformed into one of the most impressive red carpets in the world.
Eight screening rooms will be available to the public (Sinopoli, Petrassi, Teatro Studio, Salacinema LOTTO, Salacinema 2, Auditorium MAXXI – Museum of XXI Century Arts, Multisala Barberini and Casa Alice). Next to the Auditorium will be the Villaggio del Cinema, a complex stretching over 6000 square meters featuring marquees, pavilions and glass and steel stands specifically created for the
event and its visitors. The Festival programme will also involve Via Veneto, the street that epitomizes Italian cinema, where the International Film Market will be based. The Casa del Cinema at Villa Borghese will be the headquarters of the New Cinema Network.

Tickets for all the events in the programme of Alice nella città, open to the public, both in the screening rooms made available by the Rome Film Festival and in the Casa Alice village, will be sold at 5 euro (this ticket price will not apply to any co-productions made in collaboration with the Rome Film Festival).
There are no discounts on tickets for screenings costing €5 or less or for festival passes. Festival goers between the ages of 18 and 26 or over 65 are entitled to a 10% discount on the full ticket price.
Please note that discounts are applied only at the official Festival ticket offices. Lost tickets will not be replaced or refunded. None of the screenings have been rated for their contents so only persons aged 18 and over will be admitted.
All screenings are in the original language version with subtitles in English and in Italian for the foreign films or with subtitles in English only for the Italian films.

Dal 9 al 17 Novembre 2012 l’Auditorium Parco della Musica di Roma ospiterà la settima edizione del Festival Internazionale del Film di Roma. Il complesso di Renzo Piano sarà anche quest’anno il cuore pulsante del Festival, il luogo dove si svolgeranno le proiezioni e il red carpet: i 1300 mq del viale che conduce alla Cavea saranno trasformati in una delle più grandi passerelle al mondo. Il pubblico avrà a disposizione otto sale (Sinopoli, Petrassi, Teatro Studio, Salacinema LOTTO, Salacinema 2, Auditorium MAXXI – Museo Nazionale delle Arti del XXI secolo, cinema Multisala Barberini, Casa Alice). Accanto all’Auditorium sorgerà il Villaggio del Cinema, un complesso di oltre 6000 mq, costituito da tensostrutture, padiglioni e stand in acciaio, vetro e legno appositamente realizzate per la manifestazione e i suoi visitatori.
La programmazione del Festival coinvolgerà anche l’area di Via Veneto, strada simbolo del cinema italiano che ospiterà anche quest’anno il Mercato Internazionale del Film. La Casa del Cinema a Villa Borghese sarà il quartier generale di New Cinema Network.
